Completed both his MBChB and MMed (Internal Medicine) studies at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
He obtained his certificate in Nephrology from the colleges of Medicine of South Africa following his training in General Nephrology at Stellenbosch University. He has also undertaken Peritoneal Dialysis Fellowship sponsored by ISPD.
He is currently a Nephrologist in private practice at the Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi.
He is the director of CKS Dialysis Centre. He is a lecturer at Kenyatta University School of Medicine and the Registry and Research subcommittee chairman at Kenya Renal Association.
His research areas of interest includes: Renal registries, CKD epidemiology, Kidney transplantation
